about the artist

David Lehigh resides in the Pacific Northwest, and his background includes bachelors and masters degrees in art, 27 juried gallery shows at the professional level, and acceptance into the prestigious Oregon Watercolor Society. David's work is also featured in the collections of the Ford Foundation, Oregon State Department and many other private and public agencies, with ongoing invitations to show in a variety of local and national galleries.

His work includes landscapes, spacescapes and figurative pieces in a variety of media. Currently he is producing large scale single or multi-sectioned spacescapes (typically 12 to 76 feet in length or height) for commissioned clients only. These pieces are produced on handmade wooden frames with hand-stretched canvas, treated and graphically rendered in oil paint medium.
